If you are looking for a place to stay in Mahahual, our recommendation is the hotel Maya Luna 5 km south of the village. They have a restaurant and kayaks for rent to paddle out to the pristine reef for snorkeling.

An excellent choice for dining with homemade pita bread as their specialty and Tapas Night every Wednesday is the friendly “Travel in´’’ at km 6.7 on the costera between Mahahual and Xcalak. Camping is possible at the beach and 2 basic rooms for rent.
